The Bayswater Football Club would like to extend its deepest sympathies to Damian Murray following the passing of his sister Olivia.

The thoughts and prayers of everyone at the club are with Damian, along with his family and friends at this time.

Following the appointment of Paul McCormack as senior coach for the 2015 season, our pre-season training times have been confirmed.

There will be 18 sessions before Christmas, starting on Saturday, November 8 with a run around the Tan Track in Melbourne.

The Bayswater Football Club is thrilled to announce the appointment of Paul McCormack as Senior Coach for the 2015 season.

We welcome Paul, his wife Julie and kids Jude and Mia into the Bayswater Football Club family.

Paul played with Carlton AFL and Norwood in the SANFL.

Originally from Scoresby, Paul played with North Melbourne's strong Under 19 side before transferring to Dandenong in the VFA.

A later start to all games last week with the seniors playing a twilight match. The U19’s game was one they would like to forget – unfortunately they were never in the contest and Mooroolbark took every opportunity to score and get a percentage boost. As you may be aware each year the club hosts the EFL first division finals series, this year as with every other year with large crowds expected your club needs assistance to ensure we have a successful series and showcase our facilities. 

The finals run for four consecutive weeks; 

Saturday 30th August – Qualifying Final
Saturday 6th September – Semi Final
Saturday 13th September – Preliminary Final
Saturday 20th September – Grand Final

Last week at home against Doncaster East the U19’s and reserves both had disappointing games, the 19’s despite being outnumbered played at their best and had a great first quarter and could have been level at the first break, they batted hard all day but were just no match for the running game of Donny East. Away at Croydon last week all sides had mixed results. The U19’s started well with good numbers and played great football in the first half but got run over in the second, keep at it for the remainder of the games this season as your effort is fantastic.
