In wet conditions at home last week all three sides were once again competitive but unable to get a win on the board. The U19s started confident but Nth Ringwood really started well and despite our best efforts managed to keep us scoreless in the first half. After the main break the boys came out determined to get a score on the board and get something out of the match which they did, fantastic team effort in the conditions. Best players Dale Ingleton, Connor White, Jordan Granland and John Geddes. Keep working hard boys as your effort in games is fantastic.

The reserves did everything right in their game but come away with the win, starting well kicking four goals in the first quarter that gave us a handy lead the boys continued to work hard in the second quarter to maintain a slim four point lead at the main break. The second half was a real see-saw game with us letting Nth Ringwood back into the game in the third quarter allowing them to take the lead for the first time in the match. Despite our best efforts we couldn't get the lead back, losing by just four points is disappointing, best players Mitch Jackson, Jake Paul, Zac Leacy and Alex Mitchell.

The senior game was a very even contest, despite not getting off to the best start the players worked hard and made up for it in the second quarter with our forwards getting into the game and at the main break they managed to close the gap with he scores level and us having all the momentum. Unfortunately we didn't come out in the second half with the same level of commitment to the contest allowing Nth Ringwood to get on top and take away the win, we cannot use the conditions as an excuse - being outplayed in the second half cost us the win. Best players Neil Winterton, Daniel Rajab, Wayne McInerney and Sam Nevins.

Let's regroup as a club, continue the hard work at training through the week and this will set us up for East Burwood. Go Waters!
